An anonymous FOBR boardie sent several theories and thoughts on what the MVP shenanigans could be. I will try to break it all down and make it relevant to what is known and not just leave it up to speculation. I will try to piece together everything we know so far. If there is anything I missed or you wish to correct, please email me to correct it.
Let’s start with Pete Weiss. If some of you don’t recall BreeSays posted about the GQ magazine where Lil Wayne referred to Pete as “Pete Weiss.” Also remember that Lil Wayne sang guest vocals on Tiffany Blews too on Folie A Deux. Here is what the interview entailed:
When the mag asked what the artist had been listening to, he said, “I only listen to me. I’m not trying to be funny. I’m just analyzing. Critical. Seeing what I like what I don’t like. Say what I should have said. What I could say next time, what I should have said, things like that. I’ve been playing the drum set. Pete Weiss. Pete Wentz. Whatever. That dude from Fall Out Boy? He gave me a bass guitar, so I’m playing bass on my new song. I been trying things.”
Perhaps Lil Wayne might be also guest appearing on the upcoming BND tour like fiddy. Or maybe even Lil Wayne could be in the next music video for Tiffany Blews? More on this in a bit. Now the actual Pete Weiss “is a New England-based producer/engineer/mixer/musician.” And this is where one of the FOBR boardies’ theories comes in.
So we think that Pete is going to go with Pete Weiss. Now it might be a coincidence and people might think that Weiss is just Wentz’s alter ego, but he’s not, he has something to do with this.
And I agree that he is somewhat associated with all these MVP shenanigans. Take a look at the image at the top that Pete posted on his blog a while back. That illustration shows him in a suit which is a direct foreshadowing of the suits we see in the second MVP video. Coincidence? Perhaps or intentional. The FOBR boardies continue to speculate that perhaps the video that was shot for She’s My Winona in the UK might also be connected to this as seen via a tweet from @JustinAThompson:
So maybe Wentz is going to make a music video using Weiss’ expertise by making She’s My Winona comment on how the “Rich and Famous” are just sitting there and laughing, while all these wars (riots) are continuing. The suits may be used during the BND since the 2nd MVP video showed that.
This could most definitely make sense since we all know the guys to be very vocal about worldwide issues and their new video could focus on bringing more awareness to these issues. Think of the “Me & You” video that they shot in Uganda with Invisible Children. Pete did recently talk about going to the Congo this year. And last night Rachel tipped us off that @xxclandestinexx asked Andy via @FUCKCITY what the next single would be out of “Shipped Gold, What a catch, or Tiffany Blews?” in which he replied with:
This could either mean that nametags theory is much more on the mark or that the correlation between the Pete Weiss/LilWayne/Tiffany Blews theory makes more sense. Here is a little video on FOB’s involvement with Uganda & Invisible Children.
Now as far as the suits go, the FOBR boardies believe that the guys will wear them on stage “cabaret style” and spotted them in this poster:

The most far fetched theory that the FOBR boardies has been that perhaps this “new firm” that’s been talked about much is going to replace CRUSH with WEISS due to problems with the M&Gs. I personally highly doubt that, since that involves logistics of contracts and all.
However, I do have a strong feeling that the way the M&G passes were handeled and distributed abroad will be implemented here in the states too. That seems to be one of the theories that many have agreed on by readers on ICH, FOBR, and here. Now it’s no secret that there’s been tension between OCK fans and non-OCK fans regarding perks. Many on ICH and FOBR have commented that perhaps the MVP videos are a reflection of that. This theory of M&Gs could be the remedy for that before all hell breaks loose in fandomland. This is all in-theory, so no freak outs people.
And last but certainly not least is the questionable factor and authenticity of http://mvandpfirm.tumblr.com. It was originally found on ICH by one of their members. Now the tumblr currently only features three entries with two images.
The first entry being this:
The Second being this:
Problems look Veritably small from five Miles up
And the third with this:
liaf em ton
Now I have to agree with the mod over at ICH latest post that this tumblr feels a bit fake. However, humor me with these connections that I found. The most obvious is the first image masking us if we still believe. Could it be asking if we believe in Pete Weiss or in Pete and the band? Seems a bit too easy. However, the second entry with the text hidden in black says “Problems look Veritably small from five Miles up.” Many, including myself after taking a closer look at the capitalized letters, you will find they spell out PVM which really means MVP. This leads me back to the theory on the possible new video bringing awareness to world problems where the above saying is trying to make a point that from far away other peoples problems don’t seem as important and it’s not until we see them up close and personal that we can truly understand. Or maybe not? And lastly is liaf em ton which many on ICH and FOBR say should really be read as either NOT ME FAIL or FAIL ME NOT. I wanna say to go with the second one where WE are asked to not FAIL them in continuing to BELIEVE.
That’s as much as I can process right now, so if you have anything to add feel free to EXPAND on what is being discussed. And if you have your own theory, post about it and we will re-post it.
Here, here to ICH, FOBR and CFOBmania working together indefinitely.
