It all started with this post...

I’ve got a theory, some kid is dreaming…

Read up on nametags’ theory on what she thinks the MVP shenanigans might mean:

Late night brain + P.Wentz shenanigans + Buffy Musical = me blogging?

Alright so overall my mind is still blown that JOSS WHEDON quoted Fall Out Boy, but I’ll save that for another time. Right now I’m just trying to jot down my theory about this whole mindfuck of a game Pete’s tossing around. I’m sure people have seen the stuff about http://www.mvandpfirm.com and the videos and what not. Basically it boils down to the words that have MVP in them when they get scrambled around start with the letters BND as in Believers Never Die and they are “taking clients” the same day that the US tour starts. Yadda yadda something with this tour. Possibly the whole hide and seek for meet and greet passes, but there’s clearly more.

I began thinking about how MVP usually stands for Most Valuable Player. Then it clicked that Andy’s character in “America’s Suitehearts” was named “Donnie, the World’s Greatest Catcher” and figured if someone is the “World’s Greatest Catcher” that would make them a MVP, now wouldn’t it? It would. Go with this.

So the song they yanked Donnie from is “What A Catch, Donnie”. If you’ve been following Andy on twitter since almost the beginning, you know that when the album came out he explained that What A Catch was being considered for a single and that’s why it was placed in the middle of the album instead of at the end despite being a great album ender. There’s some rumors floating around that in Europe that stations are already pushing “She’s My Winona” as the next single so this may debunk part of my theory. BUT! I think there’s a possiblity that “What A Catch, Donnie” may very well be the next single from the album. Or at the very least will be included on the tour.

That’s my theory. And look! No bunnies or midgets involved!
